Westmalle, one of only 6 authentic Trappist breweries in the world, offer Triple 9.5 degrees alcohol and Dubbel 7 degree alcohol. For more than 200 years, the monks of, Westmalle have ,been following thier vocation of prayer and work at the abbey of Westmalle. The rule of St. Benedict requires that they support themselves, which they do by farming, making cheese, and brewing beer. Out of respect for the environment and for people, they intentionally keep thier activities on a small scale. As these are not for profit ventures, whatever surplus they earn is devoted to charity.
