Two Achel Glasses

 

One of the seven Trappist Beers, Achel is located in the Flemish Countryside, hidden between fields and forests on the boundary with the Netherlands. Situated near the water of the "Tongelreep", you find the "Achelse Kluis". For more than three centuries this place has been hallowed by "Ora et Labora", pray and work, according to St. Benedict's spirit.  Enjoy your trappist beer with this excellent looking tulip shaped glass. 

The Five: Amber, dark-red, contains no sugar in order to maintain a pure full flavor (5% vol.).
The Five blond: Light golden with a richer, fuller, stronger flavor.

Not all the Trappistes Beers of Achel are bottled and can only by tasted in the cafetaria of the Abbey 'De Achelse Kluis'. There are “eight” which are available in Belgium, US, and abroad.
